The FBFMA is composed of district and associate members. District Members appoint one voting representative to the Board of Directors. Associate Members are encouraged to attend meetings but are non-voting members.

District Membership

Any of the following are eligible to become Members of the FBFMA:

Any Levee Improvement District (LID) in Fort Bend County.

Any Municipal Utility District (MUD) or special district that owns or operates a levee under the jurisdiction of the Texas Water Code and subject to the water code of the TCEQ.

Associate Membership

Any of the following are eligible to become Associate Members of the FBFMA:

Any political subdivision not included in the definition of District Membership.

Any professional or private consultant firm.

Development corporation.

Home owner association.

Commercial property owner association.

Or any other organization interested in the issues related to flood risk management in Fort Bend County.
